As mentioned, former Chief Rabbi and Rosh Yeshiva of Mercaz HaRav, Rabbi Avraham Shapira is very ill. He was seen in shul on Rosh Hashana in a wheel chair with an oxygen. He was hospitalized today as his health has taken a turn for the worse, details follow.
